Scientific partnerships
Many Plan Vivo projects offer opportunities to engage in groundbreaking technical and scientific research on vegetation-carbon dynamics, land use change, social and biodiversity topics. In many cases there will be opportunities to collaborate with local scientific institutions or internationally renowned university departments.
Many students both from the UK and abroad have been involved in research surrounding the projects and there are clear opportunities for further research. Local students and researchers can also gain access data and can conduct fieldwork at the project site if arrangements are made.
