Pilot Phase, it was registered with Plan Vivo in 2006. It is open for investment and the limited direct purchase of credits.

Description
working with the Nhambita community and resident subsistence farmers in the buffer zone of the Gorongosa National Park, the project is linked to a suite of activities aimed at slowing deforestation in this area of outstanding importance for biodiversity.
Development
From the first scoping study in 2001 the project has grown and is successfully operating under Plan Vivo standards.
