Stakeholder Forum

The stakeholder forum provides a mechanism for ongoing consultation with producers. This may be accomplished through regular meetings with representatives of producer groups. Such meetings provide an opportunity to discuss project activities and proposed changes to administrative systems as well as reporting on monitoring and financial information. It is also a chance for producers to raise particular problems and suggest solutions.

Minutes of meetings can help demonstrate stakeholder participation.

In the Scolel T project meeting involving representatives from each community are held every six months. The administration presents financial reports and details of payments while the technical team uses this as an opportunity to help producer groups plan activities over the year.
