Administration

The administration is responsible for the management of carbon registered in the Carbon Fund and the use of finances provided by purchasers to buy carbon credits, specifically:

• registering producers' carbon credits with the Carbon Fund
• organising the allocation of sale opportunities to producers
• making sale agreements with producers on behalf of purchasers
• recording the results of monitoring
• making payments to producers on behalf of purchasers

In the Scolel T project administrative and technical roles are carried out by the same organisation - AMBIO an NGO specialising in rural development and natural resources management.
