Evaluation

Each technical specification should have an associated evaluation form which detail the criteria that will be used to assess:

  • Management - whether producers have allocated sufficient resources to implement the plans. For example, with afforestation this may include an assessment of the number of days producers have allocated for particular operations or where seedlings will be obtained from. For activities involving community action the evaluation must include an assessment of community level organisation.
  • Risks - with reference to risks and mitigation actions identified in the technical specification, especially concerning:
    • the ownership over carbon rights
    • the risks of leakage
    • risks of fire, pests etc.
  • Baseline - with reference to the information included in the technical specification.

See example evaluation form template.
