Reducing at source - the Victoria Charter
Plan Vivo recognises that reducing emissions at source is preferable to offsetting as a method of reducing CO2 emissions. Offsetting should therefore be used for those emissions which cannot be reduced. All buyers must agree to the Victoria Charter which set out principles for the responsible use of Carbon Offsets by companies and other organisations.
